The school is located on the beachfront, in front of the main car park of El Rosal beach, in San Vicente de la Barquera. It is the first surf school in the Cantabrian municipality.

Buena Onda is considered the pioneering surf school in San Vicente de la Barquera. It offers beginner and advanced courses in surfing, bodyboarding, and Stand Up Paddle.

Tips for your next Surf Trip to the Cantabrian Sea

If you want to have a great surf trip in the Cantabrian Sea and ensure uncrowded waves, we recommend going in winter to take advantage of more consistent wave conditions and fewer people, but be prepared for the cold! However, if you want warmer weather and good surfing in Cantabria, we recommend the autumn and spring seasons. In summer, you will also find waves and warmer water, but expect more people and that conditions may not always be ideal.
