Our Flex-Fiber® Technology

Our Flex-Fiber® technology allows us to offer the best learning and progression boards on the market . Lightweight and easy-to-handle boards that, despite their large volume, are built to accelerate the improvement in wave control.

What is Flex-Fiber?

Designed by surfers and developed by engineers, Flysurf technology allows us to develop lightweight, maneuverable, and durable surfboards.

This construction is based on a water-resistant expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam core with three wooden stringers inside, a high-density plastic (HDPE) outer lamination, and all sealed with a black EVA foam edge or rail . This is Flex-Fiber® .

Its excellent buoyancy and durability allow you to combine the best of both worlds: the safety and buoyancy of a soft-top board with the handling and control of classic rigid fiberglass boards, so you can learn to surf without losing style.

All of this makes Flex-Fiber ® the perfect composition for beginner and intermediate surfers on their way to improving their surfing: boards that are easy to ride.

  • Progression

Our technology makes a cork or softboard feel very similar to a hardboard. So as you improve, you'll almost unknowingly get used to a fiberboard by the time you're ready to take the next step.

  • Security

Safety is a key aspect when learning to surf. Our boards feature an EVA rail or rail that surrounds the entire board, acting as a "shock absorber" for any impact, ensuring everyone's safety!

  • Control

The rails of a surfboard are used to "stick" the board into the wave face and turn. Unlike the vast majority of soft-top boards, the rails of our boards are very similar to those of a hard-top board: a differentiating factor in improving your surfing.

  • Lightness

In general, learning boards are characterized by their large volume, and therefore excessive weight. Our flex-fiber technology allows us to build boards that are strong yet lightweight, making them easier to transport and control on the water.
