WHAT YOU ASK US THE MOST
Which board is right for me?
Generally speaking, we recommend choosing the board model closest to the last board you surfed, but always smaller.
Even so, we have developed an excellent guide for selecting the right board .
If you still have questions, write to us via chat or email and we'll give you free expert advice.
What is the difference between VPS and FCS fins?
The VPS keel system is characterized by its simplicity and safety.
It offers great stability on the wave, while also offering safety against possible impacts for beginners.
The FCS system is the most common system on most rigid surfboards, so these fins will work for virtually any other board.
Plus, being a universal system, it allows you to equip your Fly with other high-performance fins. If you're looking for greater control in your surfing, this is the system for you.

For any of our products, we promise to deliver within a maximum of 5 business days for domestic shipments and 7 business days for the rest of the EU.

How do I install traction pads?
To make things easier for you, we've developed a short guide on how to install the pads. We've also included templates for pad layouts by model to help you navigate.
Can I wax my board?
Yes! Our Flex-Fiber technology allows you to use wax on our boards. However, all of our boards come with a set of non-slip pads to place on the board. This way, you can always keep your board looking great.
In any case, if you feel you need a little more grip, we recommend applying wax to the pads. This way, your board will always be spotless and you'll avoid possible damage due to sun exposure, heat, etc. (something very common on any soft surface).
What material are your boards made of?
Our boards are softboards, not hardboards. But thanks to our unique Flex-Fiber technology, we can build boards that allow you to ride with the safety and buoyancy of a softboard, but with the sensation of riding a hardboard. Without a doubt, the ideal board before making the switch to a hardboard.
What is included with the purchase of a board?
All of our Flex-Fiber construction boards come with an accessory bag to make your experience as complete as possible.
- The bag the products come in is a reusable tote bag, which you can use for your everyday belongings.
- Fin set: VPS or FCS, depending on the board you have chosen.
- Traction Pads: A set of traction pads so you don't have to use wax.
- Fly Booklet: An informative booklet made with all our love. Here you'll find information on board maintenance, surfing rules, other models, and more.
- Fly Sticker: A souvenir sticker to take with you everywhere, in your van or wherever you want.
About Surfing
I've never surfed before, can I surf with your boards?
Yes! Our boards are specially designed for learning and progressing through your first years of surfing. We've taken into account three key factors to develop the perfect learning surfboard: weight distribution, buoyancy, and stability.
We know this is one of the toughest sports, so we wanted to develop surfboards that allow you to easily get up and ride the wave, giving you that fantastic surfing feeling.
I feel like I'm not making any progress, can these charts help me?
Yes, we know that situation all too well. In the early years of surfing, the number of waves you ride and the amount of time you spend standing on the board during your session isn't enough to generate rapid and progressive learning. This is usually due to poor board selection (one that doesn't float enough or has poor weight distribution) and/or poor paddling technique.
Flyboards will allow you to ride waves with greater control and stay on them longer. As a result, your body will become accustomed to the sensation of surfing, your senses will sharpen, your posture and balance will improve, and consequently, your surfing will progress like never before.
Why can a Flyboard help me surf better?
Because you'll catch more waves with less effort and more confidence. Designs developed by professional shapers, low-profile rails straight toward the tail and rounded at the tip will allow you to stay high on the wave face and glide stably and quickly through it, improving your posture and balance. More waves, without a doubt, mean better surfing and more fun.
Which board is right for me?
We've developed an excellent guide for choosing the right board, recommending a board based on your weight, surfing experience, and physical condition. You can find the guide here , as well as in the description of each board model.
Technical Questions
Can FCS fin boxes have the screws facing outwards?
Yes. The fins are subjected to forces in both directions, so the screws can be on the inside or outside of the box. It makes no difference.
Are the boards compatible with rear pads?
Yes, you can easily install your rear pad on Fly surfboards with Flex-Fiber construction (the white boards).
My black rail has a mark, is this normal?
Yes, it's completely normal. It's the rail's connection point and is perfectly sealed. All our Flex-Fiber construction boards have it!
Can I wax or use pads on Fly boards?
Yes, the Flex-fiber® top surface of the boards is smooth and slippery when in contact with water, just like a traditional board. Therefore, you must use some method to ensure traction (applying wax or installing our hexagonal pads).
In order to minimize the impact on the environment, and especially on the sea, we've decided to include these hexagonal traction pads with all our boards. These pads prevent debris from leaving behind in the water and ensure you get the grip you need on your board.
To increase the lifespan of your board, we recommend reducing the amount of wax used and using two-piece pads, both front and rear. In our catalog, you can find our Fly Integral Pads, which provide greater grip without the use of wax.
What materials do we use for manufacturing?
The main material used to manufacture our boards is High Density Polyethylene (HDPE+), commercially known as Flex-fiber® , a material that gives our boards unique rigidity, giving them the performance and durability characteristic of Fly.
What do VPS and FCS fins mean?
The VPS fin system is characterized by its simplicity, easy installation, and safety. It consists of three soft fins and two screws that pass through the board and are inserted into the base of each fin. It offers excellent control and stability in the wave, while also providing safety against possible impacts for beginners.
The FCS system consists of three rigid fins, the bases of which are inserted into the plugs permanently installed on the board and secured with two small Allen screws. This system is the most common on most surfboards, so these fins will work with virtually any other board. Furthermore, being a universal system, it allows you to equip your Fly with other high-performance fins. If you're looking for greater control in your surfing, this is the system for you, allowing you to perform more powerful maneuvers.
