Water-resistant expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam, with three wooden stringers and a new external polyethylene lamination, Flex-Fiber®. Vacuum bonds at high temperature, without the use of adhesives, fiberglass, or resins. All this means we have the perfect and proven configuration for easy-to-surf boards that can withstand the toughest treatment.
Flex-Fiber Technology
Flex-Fiber® is the trade name for high-density polyethylene (HDPE+), a semi-rigid plastic sheet. Its excellent buoyancy, resistance, and comparatively low manufacturing costs allow it to combine the best of both worlds: the price of a soft-top, with the performance and style of classic rigid fiberglass boards.
Furthermore, unlike other soft boards, all our boards come equipped with a leash plug similar to those on fiberglass boards, which ensures a complete seal against water leaks.
All these factors make Flysurf technology (Flex-Fiber) the most suitable composition for beginner and intermediate surfers on their journey to improve their surfing. There are no boards on the market that offer similar features at the same price.
